Temporary Road Closure – Amber Lane, Chart Sutton – 14th – 16th December 2021
KENT COUNTY COUNCIL Amber Lane, Chart Sutton (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY ORDER DECEMBER 2021
To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Amber Lane, Chart Sutton.
A closure is planned from 14th December 2021, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, with estimated completion by 16th December 2021, or where stated on a valid Permit (BC417SECHA0000176268ONSA-01 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network
Amber Lane will be closed in the general vicinity of Marshalls Place, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting works are undertaken by Openreach.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Amber Lane, Warmlake Road, Chart Corner, Plough Wents Road, Brishing Road and vice versa.
